Felipe De La Hoz is an independent immigration reporter who writes about immigration policy, courts, detention, and related subjects. He is a former staffer for the the investigative immigration site Documented, and his work has appeared in the Village Voice, The Daily Beast, WNYC, Gotham Gazette, and The Wall Street Journal, among others.
